The vacuum's running. So is your phone.
Cleaning runs on regular clients and a lot of small schedule changes. AlloPlace answers in English or French, gives quotes the way you've written them, books first cleans, and handles "can we move Thursday?" without you putting down the mop.
The calls you get
New clients asking what a three-bedroom house costs. Regulars who need to move this week's clean. One-time deep cleans before guests arrive. Move-out cleans at the end of a lease, which in Quebec bunch up around late June. Post-renovation dust. Small offices that want someone on Friday evenings. And the trust questions: are you insured, do you bring your own products, is it always the same person?
What it does for you
Quotes from your price list. Price by home size, type of clean and frequency, exactly as you set it. If the final price depends on a first visit, it says that.
Moves appointments safely. Before it changes or cancels a booking, it texts a one-time code to the number on the booking. Nobody can move someone else's clean by guessing a name.
Lets you approve new clients first. Turn on booking requests and it collects the details for a first clean, then you confirm once you know a team is free.
Answers the trust questions. Insurance, products, pets, who comes. You write the answers once, and it gives them the same way every time.
Keeps access details off the phone. With one rule, it never asks for alarm codes or lockbox codes.
A typical call
It's a Wednesday in Repentigny. A regular client calls in English. Her in-laws are visiting and she needs to move Friday's clean to next week. AlloPlace texts a code to the number on her booking, she reads it back, and it offers two open times from your calendar. She picks Tuesday. The booking moves, she gets a confirmation text, and nobody on your team had to stop what they were doing.
TBD: replace with a real call once a customer agrees.
Rules you might write
- "Never ask for alarm codes, lockbox codes or where the key is hidden. The office handles access."
- "First-time deep cleans are booking requests. I approve them myself."
- "If someone asks for a specific cleaner, take a message."
- "Move-out cleans in the last week of June fill up early. Offer the first open slot and don't promise a specific day."
Good to know
- Calendar or software: books into Google Calendar only. If you run your schedule in Jobber or a similar app, there's no direct connection yet. Talk to us first.
- Texts: clients who text you get a reply from you, by hand, in the inbox. The receptionist doesn't text back on its own.
- Payments: it doesn't take card numbers or deposits.
