Who sends these texts
Businesses use AlloPlace to answer their phones and book appointments. When you call one of those businesses, AlloPlace may text you on that business's behalf. The texts come from the business's AlloPlace number and name the business.
AlloPlace also texts the business's own staff about calls and messages.
What we send
To people who call a business
- Booking confirmations: the date and time of an appointment you booked, changed or cancelled.
- Appointment reminders: one reminder about 24 hours before your appointment, only if you agreed to it on the call or when booking.
- Verification codes: a one-time code when someone asks to change or cancel an appointment booked under your number.
To a business's staff
- Alerts: urgent calls and new messages, only for staff who've signed up to receive them.
We don't send marketing or promotional texts.
How often
Message frequency varies. You'll usually get one text per booking, change or cancellation, plus one reminder per appointment if you agreed. Codes are sent only when requested.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to stop texts from that business's number. You can also reply with words like END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, or just tell us in plain words, like "stop texting me". We'll send one message confirming you've opted out, and then no more texts, unless you opt in again.
Opting out doesn't cancel your appointment. To cancel, call the business.
Help
Reply HELP for help, or contact the business you booked with. You can also write to us at TBD: support@alloplace.ai.
Your privacy
We don't share or sell your phone number or your consent to receive texts with anyone for marketing. More in our Privacy Policy.
Carriers
Mobile carriers aren't responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
