Why this exists
AlloPlace talks to real people on your behalf. These rules keep your Callers, other AlloPlace customers and us out of trouble. If you're running an honest local business, almost none of this will ever come up.
Don't use AlloPlace to
Mislead people
- Tell Callers they're talking to a person, or turn off or alter the AI notice in a misleading way.
- Pretend to be another business, a government body or a real person.
- Give false information about prices, services or availability on purpose.
Give advice it shouldn't give
- Give medical, dental, mental health, legal or financial advice, or triage health symptoms.
- Act as a therapist or counsellor.
- Handle emergencies, or replace a line people rely on in an emergency.
Collect what it shouldn't
- Collect payment card numbers, bank details, passwords or government ID numbers.
- Collect health information. TBD: revisit if a healthcare offering is added.
- Identify or verify people by their voice.
Spam or harass
- Make outbound calls or send marketing texts. (AlloPlace doesn't make outbound calls.)
- Text people who haven't agreed to it, or keep texting after they've opted out.
- Send text content about sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco or cannabis, or anything else carriers don't allow.
- Harass, threaten or abuse anyone.
Break the law
- Do anything illegal, or help someone else do it, including breaking privacy, recording, consumer protection, telecom or language laws.
- Sell or offer illegal goods or services.
Break the Service
- Try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours.
- Test our security without our written permission. If you've found a problem, tell us at TBD: security@alloplace.ai.
- Overload the Service, or use it in a way that harms it or other customers.
- Resell AlloPlace without a partner agreement with us.
If something goes wrong
If we see something that breaks these rules, we'll usually contact you first and ask you to fix it. If it's serious, or it's putting people at risk, we may suspend the account straight away. Repeated or serious breaches can lead to closing the account, as set out in our Terms of Service.
