The caller hangs up with an appointment. You don't lift a finger.
AlloPlace books appointments while the caller is still on the line. It checks your Google Calendar, offers times that are actually free, books the one they pick and texts them a confirmation.
How a booking goes
- The caller says what they need.
- AlloPlace works out which service that is and how long it takes.
- It checks your Google Calendar and offers a couple of open times.
- The caller picks one. AlloPlace books it, and only then tells them it's booked.
- The caller gets a confirmation text. If they agreed, they also get a reminder about a day before.
- The appointment shows up in your calendar and in your AlloPlace inbox.
You set the rules
- Which services can be booked, and how long each takes
- When you're available for each kind of appointment
- Whether bookings go straight in, or come to you as requests to approve first
Changing and cancelling, safely
Anyone can call and say they're someone else. So before AlloPlace moves or cancels an appointment, it texts a one-time code to the phone number on the booking. No code, no change. If you'd rather handle cancellations yourself, it can take a cancellation request and leave it for you.
In English and French
Callers can book in either language. The confirmation goes out in the language of the call. TBD: confirm confirmation texts follow the call language.
On your website too
The same booking works in the chat on your website. Website chat
Good to know
- Google Calendar only. Outlook and booking software like Jobber, Vagaro, Fresha or Square Appointments aren't connected yet. Talk to us if that's what you use.
- Reminders need consent. Callers are asked on the call, and we keep a record of their answer.
