You answer when you can. We answer when you can't.

Keep picking up your own phone. When you're busy, on another call, or just can't get to it, the call goes to AlloPlace instead of voicemail. The caller gets helped, and you get a summary.

Voicemail isn't a plan

Most people don't leave a voicemail for a business they haven't used before. They hang up and call the next one. In a study of more than 70 million calls to home-services businesses, only about half reached a person.¹ The rest went somewhere else, or nowhere.

How it works

Your phone carrier can forward calls only when your line is busy or when you don't answer after a few rings. Point that forwarding at AlloPlace.

  1. A call comes in. Your phone rings as usual.
  2. You pick up, and nothing changes.
  3. You don't pick up. After a few rings the call goes to AlloPlace.
  4. AlloPlace answers with your business name, helps the caller, and books, transfers or takes a message.
  5. You get a summary in your inbox, and an alert if it's urgent.

What changes for you

No more callback guessing. Instead of "call me back" and a number, you get a name, what they need and how urgent it is.

Fewer callbacks at all. Many calls get handled completely: a question answered, an appointment booked.

A record of every call. Even the ones you'd never have known about.

Good to know

  • Forwarding settings and the number of rings before forwarding depend on your carrier. Some charge for forwarding. TBD: carrier guides for Bell, Vidéotron, Rogers, Telus, Fizz and the main US carriers.
  • Calls under 10 seconds aren't billed, so hang-ups don't eat your minutes.
